- Individuals or entities relying on this information for training, where there was an injury, or any situation where the BRI material ends up in dispute, arbitration, mediation, or court, the purchaser, member, subscriber or a third party shall hold BRI and its officers harmless of any and all complaints or lawsuits, unless they can prove willful negligence.
- Any mediation or lawsuit brought by a purchaser, member, subscriber, or third party, the amount of the mediation or suit shall not exceed the value which was paid to BRI.
- It shall be agreed, at the time of purchase, membership, subscription, or being on the BRI mailing list, mediation disputes and lawsuits shall be adjudicated in the County of Orange, California, no later than 60-days from filing a written complaint.
- All complaints and lawsuits shall be mediated at JAMS Orange County Resolution Center 5 Park Plaza, Suite 400, Irvine, CA 92614.
- Unless otherwise agreed, all mediation shall be live and in person, and not through a virtual ADR.
- In such instances where there is a complaint or lawsuit resulting in mediation, BRI shall be afforded legal counsel, where the prevailing party shall be awarded all JAMS costs, legal, and expert fees.
5. Revisions and Errata
The materials appearing on Building Restoration Institute's web site could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. Building Restoration Institute does not warrant that any of the materials on its web site are accurate, complete, or current. Building Restoration Institute may make changes to the materials contained on its web site at any time without notice. Building Restoration Institute does not, however, make any commitment to update the materials.

- As an annual member/subscriber, you receive automatic updates throughout the subscription period.
- Individual orders do not receive free automatic updates and will be charged for updated materials.
