About The Building Restoration Institute
The Building Restoration Institute (BRI) teaches and issues IICRC certifications on Water Damage Restoration, Fire / Smoke / Odor Remediation, and Applied Microbial Remediation.
Your business’s success relies on your ability to perform these services in a safe, educated, and legal fashion. The Building Restoration Institute can help your business accomplish just that and so much more.
Need Help Deciding Where to Start?
BRI are proud members of AIHA, RIA, IICRC, AIA, AIQA, and EIA with whom we work together to stay educated and up-to-date on the most current science and standards.
About BRI
- The Building Restoration Institute is IICRC’s approved school #123.
- Since 1985, our instructors taught IICRC and OSHA outreach safety and health courses.
- Many thousands of technicians across the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia, and Caribbean became IICRC certified through our school.
- Since Covid-19, some IICRC courses are instructed on the internet, where a few students advised us “they did not do well,” or “they did not pass their internet course.”
- Recognizing this, BRI only instructs “in-person courses,” where we contract through other approved schools, or government agencies, unions, associations, equipment suppliers, and more often, directly with a restoration contractor.
- BRI is able to instruct “combination” classes, where the WRT class is combined with the AMRT course, or the OCT is combined with the FSRT course.
- We believe, our “in-person” students (technicians, supervisors, project managers, insurance adjusters, property managers, and others) retain more of their course information, where they have higher passing grades when taking their IICRC exam.
